A little over a year ago when I woke up in labor, I remember standing at my kitchen counter, watching the clock on my stove, and jotting down my contraction start and end times.  In the midst of excruciating pain, I found the seemingly simple task tedious and annoying.  Those looking for an easier way to time contractions, will be pleased to know that there is an alternative.

The Contraction Master is a free, online contraction timing assistant that allows you to easily time your contractions with just a tap of your space bar.

Just hit the space bar when your contraction begins and hit it again when the contraction ends.  The Contraction Master keeps track of both the duration and the frequency of your contractions and allows you to print your results.

As an added bonus, Apple iPhone and iPod Touch users can download a Contraction Master app to their phone or iPods.

And tech-savvy, gadget-loving parents don't have to stop at the delivery room.  Moms and Dads of newborns can also download Baby Tracker apps to their iPhones/iPods that allow them to track diaper changes and baby's nursing times.

For more info or to download the iPhone/iPod apps: Visit Contraction Master's website.
