Philadelphia families must put the Chronicles of Narnia: The Exhibition at The Franklin on their to do lists. The state-of-the-art exhibit, which runs from November 28 to April 19, features 10,000 square feet of costumes, props, and set dressings from the popular Narnia films.
Right from the start, visitors will be captivated by the magic of C.S. Lewis. Their journey begins in the study of the famous author which features original pieces from his private collection, including his very own wardrobe. After a brief welcome video, narrated by Lewis' stepson, the doors to the wardrobe open in dramatic fashion, revealing the snowy, enchanting land of Narnia filled with artifacts, aesthetic relics, and hands-on displays.

While exploring, visitors may notice the important environmental lessons that are intricately woven throughout the exhibit. Could our own planet be frozen for 100 years, like the world of Narnia? Issues such as climate change, animal communication, and deforestation are creatively addressed in the stunning three-dimensional displays and offer a fun and unique way for children to learn about current issues in science.

Tickets can be purchased online on The Franklin's website or at Ticketmaster. Daytime tickets are $22.25 for adults and $17.50 for children. Daytime tickets include entrance to all of the Franklin exhibits and one planetarium show.
Evening tickets are $10.50 for adults and $9.50 for children. Evening tickets are valid after 5:30 p.m. and only allow entrance to the Narnia exhibit.
