Today a new app was released for the iPhone and iPod Touch that is destined to make it to the number one download spot on iTunes.  That app is Chuck Norris: Bring on the Pain.  It is the first app for the iPhone that has Chuck Norris’ name and likeness in it in 18 months of  apps.  It is on sale on iTunes for $1 and is definitely worth a download.

Chuck Norris: Bring on the Pain features Chuck Norris in a retro arcade tribute.  There’s old third person side scrolling gunfights and beat’em up levels galore.  As Chuck, you have to go through the levels to unravel a communist plot to take over America.  The levels are fun and the Chuck Norris mystique and facts are prevalent through the whole game.

The graphics and sound of the Chuck Norris app are reminiscent of 1980’s and 1990’s arcade games when Chuck was in his heyday.  They are solid all around and help t enrich the gaming experience.

Chuck Norris: Bring on the Pain is a great app that is very well priced at $1.  Anyone who is a fan of Chuck Norris, the previous decades, or old school gaming should download this app.  Not only that, it is Chuck Norris approved and if you don’t, Chuck will find you, and you’ll receive a roundhouse kick to the face.
