Valentine's Day is more than hearts and flowers
Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be about romance, hand-holding and flowers. Single or coupled, there are tons of fun things to do that aren’t dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with cupid dust.
Support you local sports teams. Get a couple of seats at the
Xcel Center for the
Wild and the Senators. The puck drops at 7pm. Who wouldn’t love a good hockey game for Valentine’s Day?
Are you more of a player than a watcher? Well, how about playing cupid with a paint-ball gun at
Splatball? It’s not exactly classically romantic, but it will get your heart racing. Walk on as a single (or two singles) or play in groups for a rip-roaring good time.
Wanna bring out the animal in your dearest? Take the
Minnesota Zoo’s Love Tour and see how the animals do it – fall in love that is. Your ticket includes a romantic dinner and all the animal ogling you can handle.
How about showing off your chivalrous and sporty side by winning your honey at

Dave and Busters? You can never have enough giant Pandas and a little healthy competition can be good for any relationship.
