Halloween is on a Saturday this year, which is great for little kids! (Treat-or-Treating at shops in the afternoon, around the neighborhood in the evening, spending a full-day in costume ....)
For Halloween-themed entertainment, families with older kids and brave little children can check out these events:
Shows
This family-oriented musical tells the Dracula story as seen through the eyes of a 10-year-old boy (played by Baltimore actor/dancer Paul Hager, in photo). The show, presented by DanceRINK, will run for seven performances from October 29 through November 1. Cost: Children, $10. Seniors and "Artists," $15. Adults, $20. A charity costume-ball will be held along with the Halloween night show as a fundraiser for the dance and theater company. Tickets that night are $100 per adult, $10 per child. Baltimore Theatre Project, 45 West Preston Street. www.dancerink.com.
