Denver Zoo is filled with animals from across the planet. The exhibits are vast, the park is peaceful and most of the animals enjoy being watched by people. Families can bring their strollers, wagons, lunches and snacks, to spend the day at the Zoo. There are also interactive activities such as feeding the birds, petting lizards and other up close and personal experiences to encounter.
One of the great things about the Denver Zoo, is they host themed days called Zoomily, which could include a day with your favorite fairy tale princesses, zoo lights during winter months, welcoming new baby animals, story days much more. Be sure to plan on taking a ride on the train or relaxing on the carousel while you visit.
The Zoo focuses on conservation, education, preservation and appreciation of wild life. Their volunteers love animals and families. They have many membership options available for year round visits. Be sure to get the schedule of the shows, special attractions and special discount days on the website.
