Various unique chocolate combinations are sold here, like grapes in cognac coated in chocolate, gianduja (finely ground nuts mixed with chocolate) and fruit dipped in chocolate.
One reason why Teuscher chocolates are so fresh is that they use only butter and cream—no vegetable oil, preservatives or color additives. Thus, the shop recommends consuming their chocolate within ten days—which, I am sure, will not be a problem for most!
Flown in weekly from their Zurich, Switzerland kitchen, Teuscher’s chocolates are fresh, rich, smooth and even light. Friendly counter service will help you decide which marzipan coated in chocolate or champagne truffle to pick (not that choosing chocolate requires any help!).
