I am no great fan of the Food Network's Sandra Lee, and I seriously dislike the word "tablescape," but there's something to be said for setting a terrific table. A nice table can elevate a meal from good to great. It doesn't have to be fancy to be "nice," either. In fact, there's little better than burgers and corn served on a picnic table set with gingham napkins and buckets of beer. And don't even get me started on the aesthetics of a table covered with newspaper, mallets and a couple dozen crabs.
