Santa Claus is truly a celebrity for kids of all ages. This morning, my mom and I took my three kids to Nagles in Florissant as we heard Santa was paying a visit with one of his reindeer.
The reindeer arrived first, with his handler Cindy, who owns Cindy's Traveling Zoo, an amazing mobile petting zoo which does all sorts of fun events for kids. The kids eyes lit up as he emerged from his trailer, a celebrity in his own right.
As we waited for Santa to arrive, the kids were allowed to pet BoJangles, the reindeer, who tolerated it amazingly well. We later learned that BoJangles is one of Santa's newest reindeer, still in training.

When Santa showed his fuzzy face, his fans rushed him while parental paparazzi (including yours truly) snapped photo after photo.
My oldest children were lucky enough to talk with Santa and let him know what they'd like for Christmas, while my one year old daughter eyed him suspiciously.
Once Santa and BoJangles managed to get settled in, the kids lined up and one family at a time hopped into Santa's sleigh for a photo opportunity. Needless to say, the parental paparazzi types, like me, were thrilled.

So, have you taken your kids to visit this most sought after celebrity yet this year? What have your experiences been with Santa visits? Were your kids afraid, or did they jump into Santa's arms like they'd known him forever?
