Living in the mountains means we don't always have access to all of the services available in the "Big City." Here's just one example.
The City of Idaho Springs (Colorado) has enacted a temporary moratorium on medical marijuana dispensaries until the city can formulate rules for the businesses. The decision was made at a city council meeting last week, with a close 7-6 vote.
There are at least two medical marijuana dispensaries hoping to open in town.
The council hopes to revisit the ordinance on Oct. 12.
