In Columbia County, New York, a recently-unveiled historical marker rectified a previous omission. An older marker had talked of European settlers of the area while ignoring its original people, the Mohicans. The new marker rectifies the omission.
In Pinn County, Virginia, a marker for the Pinn Community Center was dedicated on Halloween. The center traces its roots to an African-American community that started when land was donated for a church.

The historic Black Watch has received modernized headquarters at Fort George, Scotland. The fort is a historic monument owned by Historic Scotland and can be visited by the public.

On November 5, a historical marker for the first Jewish place of worship was dedicated in Salt Lake City, Utah.
In McComb County, Mississippi, a new Blues Trail historical marker was dedicated on November 6. It honors Summit Street, a former hub for blues musicians.
On November 6, a historical marker was unveiled in Gainesville, Florida. It commemorates an early building on the UC Florida campus, Benton Hall, that was demolished in 1966.
Forthcoming historical marker dedications
On November 7, in Pulaski, Tennessee, the UDC and SCV will dedicate markers to African-American veterans who founght for the Confedracy in the Civil War.
On November 9, in Clarksville, Tennessee, a new Blue Star memorial marker will be dedicated at the courthouse.
