Spay Baton Rouge's current fundraising campaign

Celebrity chef Rachael Ray's Mutt Madness contest is on and Spay Baton Rouge is one of 64 no kill animal organizations looking for votes to win the grand prize of $50,000.

Spay Baton Rouge is a not-for-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to decreasing the number of companion animals euthanized in their community.

Their motto: "Don't let your pets litter."

Voting takes a little time because you must choose one group from each of the 32 "brackets" from the initial choices.

But each group is well worth taking the time to learn about.

And the number of choices will decrease next week as eliminations occur.

Come on Louisiana. Show your support and vote Spay Baton Rouge.

Additional info: Saturday, October 17, 2009 is Spay Baton Rouge's fundraiser, Spay Soiree being held at the Louisiana Archives Building in Baton Rouge from 5pm to 8pm.
