Bring your family (both furry and non-furry members), to Safety Harbor's First Annual Fur-Fest. It will be held at Safety Harbor City Dog Park, behind the baseball fields, on Saturday, April 18th from 11 AM to 2 PM.
There is always something fun happening in Safety Harbor on the weekends and Saturday's Fur-Fest is no exception. Several of the day's events will include:
- Diva Dog Fashion Show
- Obstacle Courses
- Pups on Parade
- Vendors
I spoke to Caroline Cannici at Safety Harbor's Recreation Center. She is leaving the Center on May 1st to start her own dog walking and running service, 'Beggin' for a Walk'. Caroline is excited about Saturday's upcoming event. "It's a great way to bring our dog families together to mingle," she said.
Vendors can reserve a free space for Saturday's event by calling Katie Pounds at the Recreation Center.
To reserve a space for your pooch in the fashion show, call soon because space is limited.
