2005 American Idol winner Carrie Underwood has proven that she is much more than just a reality show singing contestant. Today Underwood achieved her 11th #1 single with her song “Cowboy Casanova” off of her newly released album Play On.

“Cowboy Casanova”, which was co-written by Underwood, has become the fastest chart-topper of the year by a country female artist. It is also the fastest #1 single of Underwood's career.

The Academy of Country Music's Entertainer of the Year is the only country artist in history to have 10 No. 1 singles from her debut albums. Not bad for a 26-year-old.

Underwood's young age and great success also presents her with the title of being The Grand Ole Opry's youngest member. Underwood was inducted into the legendary country music hall of fame in 2008 at the age of 25.

Wednesday Underwood will be a part of another legendary tradition of country music as she will once again co-host the Country Music Association Awards live in Nashville, TN.

It will be a busy night for Underwood at the ceremony, which airs live on ABC at 8 PM ET, as she is also scheduled to perform and is nominated for both Female Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year.

Underwood and her co-host Brad Paisley will perform a free concert in Nashville Wednesday morning to kick off the CMA awards that will air live on ABC's Good Morning America.
