I don’t believe in New Year’s resolutions – they never seem to stick. But get me a fun gadget that helps me get healthy, and I don’t need a resolution to take better care of myself. It just happens naturally.

So save your friends the stress and guilt of abandoned resolutions this year with one of these gadgets that can help get them off to a good healthy new year.

Wii fit – Never has exercise been so much fun or so entertaining. You’ll be surprised how effective an animated personal coach can actually be. He (or she – you can choose your coach) has an eerie way of knowing how well you actually did. And whether you’re practicing yoga, doing aerobics, some strength training, or just trying to walk a tightrope between two buildings on a balance game, you’ll find it a relatively painless way to get some exercise in.
