Find out more about Don: Don Aweau is an avid outdoorsman with a love for fishing. Growing up in Hawaii, he has had the opportunity to fish, surf and play sports. Fishing, however, has always been his greatest passion. His fascination with the sea makes him constantly curious about its secrets and its extraordinary wonders. He journeys far and wide to find a particular fish in island locales. He researches all the fish he is pursuing. He searches for unique island fishing methods that are practiced to catch different quarry. He writes to teach Hawaii's fishermen about the island culture, history, and customs. Often adding humorous fishing antidotes to connect with his readers. He desires his readers to discover new things, to share them with others and to care about Hawaii’s ocean resources. In addition he holds interests in Hawaiian history, sports, entrepreneurship, motorcycling, paddling, surfing, and writing. |
