Winner of best picture at the 76th Academy Awards, Lord of the Rings: Return of the King was based on J.R.R. Tolkien's fantasy novels and was directed by Peter Jackson.

The third and last book of the series, Return of the King offers a needed conclusion to the tales of The Lord of the Rings.  With the ever increasing hords of Sauron's goons devouring the middle lands, Frodo and Sam make it closer and closer to Mount Doom to destroy the ring.  Filled with spectacular visual effects, this movie opens the imagination and brings to life the creativity of J.R.R.
