Find out more about John: John Pitt has more than 20 years of experience in business management, corporate communications, video production, government relations, and community service. He is currently CEO of the Davis Chamber of Commerce in Northern Utah. Pitt is a Davis County native. He learned an early respect and appreciation for business while helping in all phases of the retail shop his family owned on Main Street in Bountiful. He graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in communications. An internship opportunity through the Hinckley Institute of Politics became a seven-year position as a video producer and director for the United States Senate in Washington, D.C. He returned to Utah as an Account Manager, and later Global Training Manager, for Convergys Corporation before joining the Davis Chamber in 2007. Pitt served on the Bountiful City Council for seven years. One of his primary responsibilities on the council was liaison to local business. |
