FMyLife.com has gone "viral" on the web

We all have days filled with stress, boredom or worse.  What is the remedy?  A funny site of course!  Here are four relatively new sites that will get you laughing.

1.  FMyLife.com

FMyLife has seen tremendous growth as it has grown virally in in 2009.  It serves a forum for anonymous posts of personal humiliation ending with a mere "FML". Readers have the ability to vote on whether the author deserved it or simply has a tough life.

A typical FML moment would be the following:

"Today, I learned I made the dean's honor list for my college for the first time since attending. I asked my dad if he was proud of me, to which he replied, "when you're as successful as your brother, I'll be proud." My brother is a Chippendale's dancer. FML"

The F does stand for what you may think it stands for and serves as a good laugh for those having a less than stellar day.

2.  MyLifeisAverage.com

In response to the growing popularity of FMyLife is MyLifeIsAverage.com which allows those who have a seemingly normal every-day life to post their less-than-interesting experiences.

A typical MLIA moment would be the following:

"Today I was watching Dora the Explorer. At on point Dora asked if we could "all clap along to build the magical bridge". I didnt clap along and the bridge still appeared. MLIA"

Reading a few "FML's" and following them up with an MLIA is the most effective way to enhance the humor of the site.

3. A website that is a tad more racy but still brings the laughter is TextsFromLastNight.com.  The site is filled with (mostly) drunken texts that would certainly not make Mom proud.

A typical "text from last night" would be the following:

"The last thing I remeber was convincing you to hide in the fridge, and then taking everything out and you not fitting."

Friends don't let friends text drunk or they do providing they can post it publicly on the internet.

4. A site that truly requires no explanation is AwkwardFamilyPhotos.com

While some may argue that laughing at a family's expense is cruel, no one can deny that when a family photo such as this turns up online, that it's impossible not to giggle.

These websites may not make everyone laugh, but they are sure bound to make the average person smile after a long hard day.  They are this popular for a reason right?  Just ask the guy dressed as Eeyore.
