Social Media Breakfast
Social Media Breakfasts takes place in various cities

Started in Boston in August 2007, Social Media Breakfast has been a resource for anyone interested in the subject to learn, share, eat, meet and talk about all things social media.   To date, social media breakfasts have taken place in Boston, New York City, Austin, Memphis, Ottawa, the Twin Cities,  Phoenix, San Francisco, Cincinnati and Singapore.  Each breakfast includes a theme and speakers who are experts in the field who cover subjects pertaining to social media and business.

Held at Ryles Jazz Club in Cambridge, Social Media Breakfast 9 took place with the theme of  “Starting Community Building Programs with a Reluctant Executive”.  It touched upon the subject of the higher ups not necessarily understanding social media and having very little interest in actually embracing it in the workplace.   Speakers provided troubleshooting tips and solutions to this common problem and people were able to brainstorm and network with one another.  Generally, this event gives the opportunity for people to come together in an intimate setting without having to pay high ticket prices to attend similarly themed conferences.

Social Media Breakfast 10 will take place on Wednesday, November 12th from 8:00am -11:00am, at the Ryles Jazz Club in Inman Square, Cambridge.  The theme for this event will be Getting ROI Out of Social Media and will feature three presentations on ways to evaluate and measure the success of social media activities as most individuals oftentimes find it hard to measure in comparison with traditional marketing.  If you are interested in social media and what it can do for you or your business, head on over, enjoy a breakfast and expert talk on the subject!
