Tea Partiers' statement:

"On a cold wet day,  Patriots held their ground and rallied for freedom, while most of the opposition decided to MoveOn. We outnumbered them 10:1.  The people that showed up today realize that fighting the government takeover of health care cannot wait for a warm sunny day. They are here for their children and grandchildren and the future of the country they love.  Government never takes a day off in the battle to control our lives, so we are making this fight the most important thing we do every day."

Cincinnati Tea Party, October 14, 2009
A small Tea Party turned out in the rain in downtown Cincinnati to protest the proposed health care bill. The Move On oppostion was much smaller.
