Winterfest began in 1987; I remember attending the very first event at the Seattle center house. Back then the Seattle Center house still had the bubble-ator (the elevator that took you up one floor in a big bubble). Now in its 21st year the Winterfest is still going strong. This event begins the day after Thanksgiving and ends with a giant crowd-pleasing New Years Eve celebration and fireworks display under the Space Needle. The center house at the Seattle Center is home to a number of dining options from fresh fudge makers to sit-down fine dining. If you can’t find what you hunger for there check your pulse you must be dead. The Winterfest is free and there are a number of free concerts scheduled this year. Enjoy the treats and have good eats.
