If you are afraid to have dessert because you are think that it will ruin your diet, then look no further!

Roasted pear with feta and honey is a great diet friendly dessert and it’s easy enough to make for week-night entertaining!

 

  

Roasted Pears with Feta and Honey
Recipe derived from: Woman’s Health Magazine
Serves: 2

Ingredients:
1 Anjou pear, sliced in half and cored
2 tablespoons crumbled feta
2 teaspoons honey
Freshly ground black pepper

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Wash, dry, slice pears in half and core them. Lightly sprinkle with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray and roast skin side down for 20 minutes.

Let pears cool slightly, top with feta and drizzle honey over the top. Serve warm.
