Texas law enforcement officials have confirmed the arrest of a possible suspect in the case of a woman’s death in Lyons, KS. Police in Baytown, Texas assisted Texas Rangers in the apprehension of a man in a Baytown superstore. His name has not been released.

The arrest may be related to the investigation into the death of a woman who was found in her home Sunday morning. She has been identified as Jeane Jacobsen, 31.

Friends of Jacobsen told police she was an employee at a Lyons convenience store. They said she had attended a Halloween party, Saturday night, but left early to go home.

Lyons police said her estranged husband found the woman’s body, after he arrived at her residence and discovered a door had been kicked in. Investigators said the couple was separated, but shared custody of their child.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the case.
