Fans who waited for hours at the Hollywood & Highland complex in Los Angeles were treated to an appearance by the cast of New Moon. Leading the pack were none other than the film franchise's three biggest stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner. L.A. is the first stop of a nationwide mall tour promoting New Moon, coming out November 20.
The cast also spent much of the afternoon at a New Moon press junket. Pattinson told the Los Angeles Times how filming Edward Cullen's shirtless scene in Italy was nerve-wracking. "It was the closest moment I have really felt the emotional attachment to the character," Pattinson said. "Taking that one step into the light... That is the one moment since the first Comic-Con that I felt the whole weight of participation and responsibility as well. It was a good moment."
Meanwhile, Pattinson's costar Taylor Lautner dished secrets about the third film Eclipse to Access Hollywood. "“There’s a great scene in ‘Eclipse’ that we just finished filming – the tent scene,” Lautner said. “Bella is freezing and Edward is forced to let me crawl into the sleeping bag with her to keep her warm. It’s not as heartbreaking. I find [‘Eclipse’] pretty funny. There’s a lot of ribbing going on.”
