Taylor Lautner: "Wearing Jacob's wig was annoying"

Taylor Lautner revealed that wearing a long wig to play Jacob Black was his least favorite part about filming Twilight and New Moon. "It was so weird to see that long hair on me," Lautner confessed at the New Moon press junkets. "It was very itchy, hot, and annoying. It not only was uncomfortable, but when I looked at myself in the mirror I wouldn't be able to recognize myself."

The actor was more than happy to get rid of the wig as part of his character's transformation in New Moon. "The last day of filming with the wig, we ripped it off, put it up in the air, and the whole crew gave a standing ovation," Lautner added. "It was amazing to take that thing off." Another teen celebrity could definitely relate to Lautner's feelings towards wearing a wig for long periods of time. "It's bad," Miley Cyrus once said about her character Hannah Montana's iconic blonde wig. "It's itchy for sure. I don't like it!"
