Hip-Hop has been complaining about the lack of female rappers in the genre and are practically begging for a change.

With new female acts like Canadian rapper Eternia and Queens native rapstress Nicki Minaj, things were starting to look up for  Hip-Hop; but now it is official, MC Lyte is ready to reclaim her thrown as the sickest female emcee in Hip-Hop and is prepared to once again represent for the females.

With her new track "Rocking With The Best", Lyte flaunts her lyrical skills while flexing her ego and setting the record straight about Hip-Hop by stating that it is not dead and that Nas was just pulling our leg.

Lyte raps,

Coast to coast they can't match my weight/ You a wack DJ if I ain't in your crate, wait/ Na ni***s, I've been patient enough/ Now the doctor's in bout' to rip sh*t up.

The track was produced by Ski & Apple Juice and has been declared an anthem for the streets.
