Remember that concert T-Pain was supposed to do in Guyana but had to cancel because of a slue of death threats that came via e-mail and phone calls? Well, the promoters of that concert are not too happy with T-Pain not showing up, and are suing him for the cancelled appearance.
Hits and Jams Entertainment, the company that were responsible for the promotion of T-Pain's concert that was supposed to take place in conjunction with the carnival that was going down there during the time, are suing T-Pain not only for the cancelled appearance but for a private jet, 12 private airline tickets, 24-hour room service at a 4 star hotel, numerous bottles of liquor, and my favorite, a candid conversation with the President of Guyana...wow.
There were rumors that were circulating that the threats were made by rival promoters who were a little pissed that they had not received past payments from Hits and Jams Entertainment, these allegations have not yet been confirmed.
T-Pain was threatened in a country that he was not too familiar with; how was he supposed to know prior to having all of these excessive demands that he would be threatened the day of his scheduled show? That's something they need to work out with the FBI in finding out who made the threats and sue them to give them the money they are seeking from T-Pain. The entertainment company named Nappy Boy Touring and promotion company Chase Entertainment along with T-Pain in the lawsuit and are suing for $5 million.
