Lil Wayne gives us Rebirth.

It turns out the big bosses at  Universal are actually interested in releasing Lil Wayne's debut Rock album Rebirth.

The Rock & Roll album was scheduled for an April 7th release but it suffered the doom of the push back. Now it is being reported that Wayne is gearing up to release the album just in time for the Summer. To the Lil Wayne fans that prevail don't fret, Lil Wayne promises that this album will be filled with chart-topping, mind-blowing music that will be a ground-breaking success.

In case you missed it, Lil Wayne has released music from the album; one of which being the ear-clinching "Prom Queen". I've had music fans tell me that this is the best song Wayne has put out; I have no comment about that.

Rebirth has a release date of June 9th. Wayne's album will face off with The Black Eyed Peas who will also share the same album release date.
