
Producer/rapper Timbaland has experienced an album push up for his third studio album Timbaland Presents Shock Value 2.
Timbaland’s album Shock Value 2 is a follow-up to his 2007 multi-platinum album Timbaland Presents Shock Value which spawned the hit single “The Way I Are” featuring Keri Hilson – a song that was later picked up by McDonalds for their ad campaign.
Shock Value 2 is said to defy genre boundaries by fusing the Pop/R&B landscape. Artists that are slated to appear on Shock Value 2 will be Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Chris Daughtry, Brandy, and Keri Hilson to name a few. The only Hip-Hop act that will appear on Timbaland’s Shock Value 2 will be Drake.
Timbaland will perform his single “Morning After Dark” with Nelly Furtado and Soshy at this year’s American Music Awards on November 22.
His singles “Morning After Dark” and “Say Something” featuring Drake are currently available for purchase at online retailers.
Timbaland’s Shock Value 2 is scheduled for release on December 8, 2009.
