In this short film that is.

The short film We Were Once a Fairytale directed by Spike Jonze starring Kanye West as himself, was released on the net today and boy is it bizarre.

Kanye West plays a tortured artist that is drunk out of his mind in a club. The events that transpire then after get weirder as the minutes on the video wind down.

Kanye is seen moving about the club obnoxiously ending up in a lounge area where he gets frisky with a woman that disappears when he wakes up, only to find himself in a bathroom vomiting rose petals and cutting a rat-like creature out of his abdomen.

The film reportedly premiered at the LA Film Festival this summer. It was supposed to hit iTunes last month, but for one reason or another those plans were axed.

Thankfully, the video was posted on the web for your viewing pleasure.
