Diddy has been the talk of the week with the revelation that he was a little dishonest when it came to the supposed conversation he had with rapper Shyne. That of course is a distant memory when it comes to the latest stunt he pulled during a taping of BET’s 106th and Park.
The music mogul paid a visit to the video countdown show earlier in the week to promote his new group Dirty Money (which consists of ex-Danity Kane member Dawn Richards and singer Kaleena) and his new video for his song “Angels”.
While making it rain with Dirty Money exclusive bills and actual dollar bills, Diddy accidentally threw out his $20,000 diamond encrusted ring. Diddy decided to continue with the taping, but once it concluded he announced that his ring had mistakenly flown out in the audience and he of course wanted it back.
Security was brought in and the fans that were just minutes ago cheering and going crazy over $1 bills were now being frisked and searched for the missing ring.
Security went as far as using metal-detecting wands on each of the teenage audience members, a procedure the teens needed to complete before they could be allowed to leave. In the end, the ring was not recovered.
In related news, Diddy’s newest season of "I Want To Work For Diddy 2" is scheduled to premiere on November 2nd. A sneak peek of the first episode will air on October 26th on VH1.com.
Here is the official trailer.
