The Roots confirmed as Jimmy Fallon's house band

In his first blog entry for his new late night show, former SNL star Jimmy Fallon confirmed that The Roots will be his in-house band. Now, I personally do not watch late night shows, I usually opt to channel surf but I most definitely will be tuning in every night to catch The Roots doing their thing.
I know that hip hop has become commercial but I never expected this! This really is a great look. Late night tv will never be the same. Check out the video below of Jimmy confirming The Roots' new gig. Can't see the video? Click here.
