Happy 50th, Kid

So it's Saturday and you're thinking "What am I going to do tonight?" Well, how about going to see one of the best guitarists in Orange County? Sounds like a pretty good option, eh?

Kid Ramos was in Fabulous Thunderbirds for seven years, and currently plays with Los Fabulocos. The band plays a style that is a little hard to describe, but utterly enjoyable. Listen to "Educated Fool" and you'll hear influences of the blues and zydeco, with some accordion that will make you want to move around the floor. "Crazy Baby" sounds a lot like Los Lobos, both musically and vocally.

Los Fabulocos play at The Doll Hut tonight. That's right. A former member of Fabulous Thunderbirds is playing at The Doll Hut. The show is not only a post-NAMM event, but also a celebration of Kid Ramos's 50th birthday. Bring your dancing shoes. You're going to need them.
