It looks like it may rain all weekend, so the beach and barbeques may need to be put on hold for this 4th of July. Instead, consider visiting one of the Tampa Bay area local card rooms for some 4th of July poker.
Lucky’s Card Room – Tampa Greyhound Track
On Saturday, July 4th, Lucky’s will host two different tournaments. There will be two mega stack tournaments, at 1:00pm and at 6:30pm. Both tournaments cost $60 and include 10,000 units. Currently, the tournament Spade Royal jackpot is over 12,000.
Hard Rock Tampa – Seminole Hard Rock Casino
It is time for another Super Saturday tournament at the Hard Rock. This popular event will start at 10 am on Saturday, July 4th. It cost $85 +$15. In addition, Sunday-Friday will be four-of-a-kind bonus days.
Derby Poker Room – Greyhound Derby Lane Racing Track
The 4th of July will be a busy poker tournament day at the Derby. They will actually have four different Texas Hold’em tournaments. The first will begin at 2:00pm with a Monster Stack tournament for $65 + $15. There will also be a 6:00pm deep stack and an 8:00pm knockout. The last tournament of the evening will be at midnight. In addition, they will be running satellites for the upcoming Pewter Report Players Invitational on August 1st.
The Silks – Tampa Bay Downs
The Silks will offer three different tournaments on July 4th. There will be a $30 super satellite at 1:00pm. This is a satellite for the popular, monthly $350 tournament. There will also be a 4:00pm Mega Stack and a 7:00pm Deep Stack. The Silks allows players to prepay their tournament entry fees via credit card at ptseats.com.
