Busy weekend for poker tournaments

If you are looking to play some tournament poker this weekend, you are in luck! There are numerous tournaments throughout the Tampa Bay area this weekend.
On Saturday, October 24th the Ante Up Poker Tournament stops at the Ocala Poker Room. The tournament will begin at 2:00pm. There will be 10,000 starting chips. However, you can get an additional 5,000 chips for a $10 add-on. The blind levels will be 30 minutes. Keep in mind you should pre-register, as the tournament is limited to 100 players.
On Sunday, October 25th there will be a $20 Texas Hold Tournament to benefit the Susan G Komen breast cancer fun. This event starts at 1:00pm and is limited to 150 players.
On Friday, October 23rd the Sarasota Kennel Club will offer a 25K Deep Stack tournament. The event will begin at 1:00pm. The buy-in is $100 for 15,000 chips. There is an additional $5 add-on for 10,000 more chips. The blind levels are 25 minutes.
Don’t worry if you bust out early. There is another tournament at 6:30 that evening. This Friday Night Madness tournament costs $40 for 7,000 units. There is an optional $5 add-on for 5,000 more units. The blind levels are 15 minutes long.
If you live in Tampa, consider visiting the Hard Rock this weekend. On Friday, October 23rd there will be a $20,000 guaranteed prize pool deep stack tournament. The buy-in is $500+$50 and begins at 7:30 pm.
If that is a little too pricey for your budget; consider the tournament on Saturday, October 24th. This Super Saturday tournament begins at 10:00am. The buy-in is $85+$15 unless you are sitting at the “lucky” table during the week. Currently, the Hard Rock has a promotion that awards seats to this tournament.
