With the snow finally flying here in the Denver area, the hibernation instinct is in full swing.  Many are still digesting Thanksgiving's feast from Thursday (leftovers are still good for another day or two).  A couple of pounds can easily creep on, which may spiral out of control by New Year's.

At year's end, many may be looking at a 5 to 10 pound loss to get back to their pre-holiday weight.  By following these recommendations that fate may be avoided:

  • Drink 2 parts hydrogen and 1 part oxygen (no parts alcohol)
  • Feel free to hibernate (8 hours a night)
  •  Mom said you were sweet enough already (cut back on sugared drinks, i.e. heavy duty Starbucks, Jamba Juice, McDonalds)
  • Don't listen to everything Mom said; leave half of your meal on your plate (smaller portion = fewer calories = less $$)
