If you're into burning calories from the comfort of your own home, you may want to check out the latest Wii Fit has to offer.

Fitness personality Jillian Michaels has graciously donated her image (no doubt for a hefty price) for this latest Wii Fit "game".

You can choose four types of workouts to correspond to your particular goal.  The different modes include:

  • Weight Loss
  • Strength Training
  • Intervals
  • Hill Climb

You also have control over the intensity (light, medium, or hard) and the duration of exercise (5-60 minutes).  There are obstacle courses to run through, a balancy beam activity, punching bags, and monkey bars to name a few calorie burning activities.

There is even an option to go head to head and race against a friend or family member in the Competitive Campfire Mode.  You'll see who can burn more calories or who is faster through individual challenges.

If you have a hard time believe a video game will get you in shape, take Angelina Jolie's word for it!  It's a great way to spice up your workout regimen for days you can't make it outside.  It can also make a great holiday gift.
