Victoria Gardens Cultural Center kicks off World Music Summer Concert Series
With summer in full swing and many families looking for cheap entertainment in and around the Inland Empire, why not check out our area’s free concerts. With offerings from pop to rock to Latin and World Music, there’s sure to be something the whole family will enjoy.
Starting today, Victoria Gardens Cultural Center kicks off their World Music Summer Concert Series with
The Batuqeiros, an ensemble that blends Afro-Brazilian beats with all the rhythms their instruments can provide. For a listing of free concerts, please check out http://www.sbsun.com/ci_12716203. Besides the events listed there, Jurupa’s Parks and Recreation Department is hosting Concerts in the Park at Eastvale’s Harada Heritage Park. You can check them out tomorrow at 6:30 for a Ticket to Ride – a tribute to the Beatles. For more information on their offerings, please go to page two of their summer brochure: http://www.jcsd.us/parks/SummerBrochure09.pdf. Summer is hanging out, barbecuing, going to the beach, and enjoying lots of free music. So, bring chairs or a blanket and most likely a sweater and relax to all the melodies you are able to soak up. Before you know it, your ticket to ride will expire, whether you’ve used it or not.
