Every now and then someone creates something groundbreaking; Poker Stove is one of those creations. Poker Stove is available as a free download, and no poker player should be without it.

Poker Stove - This is the be all, end all of simulation software. Poker Stove allows you to choose either a specific hand, a % range of hands, or any combination of hands, and compare how they do against another hand/hand range.

By running millions of hand simulations in seconds, Poker Stove shows you the winning percentage, and also the pot equity. Here are a couple of examples of what you can simulate:

Example 1 - AK vs a random hand.

2,097,572,400  games     0.031 secs    67,663,625,806  games/sec

Board:
Dead:

    equity     win     tie           pots won     pots tied
Hand 0:     65.320%      64.47%     00.85%         1352291878      17843919.50   { AcKh }
Hand 1:     34.680%      33.83%     00.85%          709592683      17843919.50   { random }

Poker Stove ran over 2 billion hands in .31 seconds!

Example 2 - AcAd vs ThJh, with a QhKh2c flop.

990  games     0.005 secs   198,000  games/sec

Board: Qh Kh 2c
Dead:

    equity     win     tie           pots won     pots tied
Hand 0:     50.606%      50.61%     00.00%                501             0.00   { AcAd }
Hand 1:     49.394%      49.39%     00.00%                489

In this scenario, with board cards, Poker Stove ran just under 1,000 hands to come to it's findings (it's a coin-flip).

Poker Stove is an incredibly valuable tool, allowing players to review certain hands they played, as well as giving them the ability to memorize certain odds beforehand.
