A. Students participate in scripted role-play called “Control your anger with SPAM.”

Story Description: Emily and Mike have a great deal of trouble keeping control of their temper.  A guidance counselor teach them a method of Anger Management that works called SPAM, like the meat, only it is not something to eat. (S.P.A.M. = Stop-Ponder-Appreciate-Moment)

Link to that Anger Management story called “Control your anger with SPAM.”

B. Teacher: We will now act out the role-play based on the last story you just heard called “Control your anger with SPAM.”

The role-play features three guy actors: Mr. Thompson, Mike, and Danny.

The role-play also features four girl actors: Emily, School Secretary, Mrs. Clarkson, and Mrs. Feelgood.

Emily, Mike, and Mrs. Feelgood have big parts. Mrs. Clarkson and Mr. Thompson have medium-size parts. Danny and the School Secretary have small parts.

The rest of the class will take turns reading the parts of Narrator 1 and Narrator 2.

Who is interested in playing these roles? (Either pull names or accept eager student volunteers.)
