Julia Roberts is helping The LAByrinth Theater Company with their seventh annual benefit featuring Celebrity Charades: on Monday December 7th. Ever wonder what could possess a famous face to don a fake mustache? What could drive mild-mannered, law-abiding celebrities to back alleys and interrogation rooms? For the second year in a row, LAByrinth Theater Company is capturing on camera the dirty deeds that celebrities do in order to get a leg-up on the competition in its signature benefit Celebrity Charades. Follow the action online at www.LABtheater.org to witness the crimes, the lies and desperation as each weekly Charades Webisode debuts, leading up to the December 7th event.
At the live event, watch four celebrity teams do battle in a fearsome and hilarious speed charades competition with referee Eric Bogosian (Talk Radio, “Law & Order”). Players confirmed to participate to date (subject to continuing availability) include Ian Astbury (frontman, The Cult), Bob Balaban (Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show), Bobby Cannavale (“Will & Grace,” The Station Agent), Tom Colicchio (“Top Chef”), Billy Crudup (Almost Famous, The Coast Of Utopia), Philip Seymour Hoffman (Doubt, Capote), John Ortiz (Public Enemies, Miami Vice), Julia Roberts (Duplicity, Erin Brockovich, Pretty Woman), Sam Rockwell (Frost/Nixon, Choke), Daphne Rubin-Vega (Sex and The City, Tony Award-Nominee for Rent, Anna In The Tropics), Julia Stiles (Oleanna, Mona Lisa’s Smile) and Yul Vázquez (“Seinfeld”, Che). More names added each week!
