Will a judge ok release of the Yale killing reports?
A New Haven Connecticut judge says he’ll rule later this week on whether to unseal documents detailing the case against a former Yale employee in the murder of graduate student Annie Le.
Raymond Clark III was a lab technician at the Yale medical research building where Le’s body was found Sept. 13. Her body was found on her wedding day, stuffed behind a wall in the building.
Clark has not yet entered a plea in the case. Judge Roland Fasano has continued the case to Dec. 21. News organizations have asked the judge to unseal documents detailing the case.
Prosecutors, curiously, oppose the request, citing privacy rights of the Le family and the need to ensure an impartial jury.
Kind of makes you wonder what’s in the reports. You’d think it would be the defense trying to keep the files from going public.
