Seven House Democrats have released a letter asking CIA Director Leon Panetta to correct his May 15th statement that included this: "It is not our policy or practice to mislead Congress. That is against our laws and our values."
The letter contained no details as to what they claim the CIA mislead them to believe nor did it give them any credibility in their claims. House Democrats are also falsely reporting that the CIA director did in fact make such statements.
Recently you testified that you have determined that top CIA officials have concealed significant actions from all members of Congress, and misled members for a number of years from 2001 to this week
While Leon Panetta has only been on the job 5 months, he still stands by his May 15 statement.
Why would the Democrats focus in on the CIA and yet, not include the exact issues they claim to be mislead on?

The Democrats' letter became public the night before the House is scheduled to vote on an intelligence spending measure that includes a provision to expand the number of House and Senate members privy to the kind of secret briefing that Pelosi received.
The President has already told Congress that he would veto such a bill but the Democrats can't get that through their heads. Instead of focusing on pressing issues that our country is faced with, the Democrats are fighting among themselves. It may be entertaining for some, but it's sad to think that the House has nothing better to do. Perhaps we should flood their lines with suggestions.
To the Democrats: Pelosi lied. She claimed she was never briefed then claimed she was never briefed but that the CIA lied to her. How can we believe her if she started out lying? The best solution to this problem is for Nancy Pelosi to admit that she mislead the American public instead of passing the blame, again.
