In an exclusive interview with Diane Sawyer, platinum-selling performing artist Rihanna spoke out about the infamous incident that occurred last February when her pop star ex-boyfriend Chris Brown beat her.  The full interview will air this Friday, 10 p.m. on ABC's 20/20.

" 'F' love,"  said Rihanna. "Love is so blind."

"This happened to me," she said, "and it can happen to anybody."

"When I realized that my selfish decision for love could result in some young girl getting killed," she said, " I could not be easy with that."
