Authorities are searching for clues in the stabbing death of a 33-year-old woman who was attacked in the early morning hours Thursday at an apartment complex in the San Diego border community of San Ysidro.
Araceli Noriega, 33, walked away from a group of friends outside a residence in a gated community in the 2000 block of Dairy Mart Road around 12:30 a.m., San Diego police said.
She returned to the group minutes later, then collapsed. She was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Authorities have not released any information about potential suspects and are continuing their investigation.
