Produced in the style of early American spirits, Prichards' Fine Rum reflects the values of hand-crafted, authentic small batch aged rums made by master distillers.

Using premium table-grade American molasses and fresh spring water from the hills of Tennessee, Prichards' spirits are distilled in small copper pot stills, then matured in hand-made 15 gallon charred white oak casks until the peak of perfection.

This medium bodied rum of golden amber color presents aromas of rich oak, bourbon, butter and molasses. The palette detects a kindred profile of Tennessee whiskey, followed by a medium dry soft bouquet of vanilla, cider and roasted nuts. A smooth semi-dry finish fades quickly.

Single malt whiskey and bourbon enthusiasts will appreciate the effects of the petit charred white oak barrels, delivering a potent flavor profile to this fine rum which seems to suggest a maturity of much more than three years.

Phil Prichard, the unofficial dean of new American rum distillers, set up his operation in 1999, the first new distillery in Tennessee in five decades, located in the heart of Jack Daniels territory. Since that time, many others have followed Phil's lead and the American rum category is thriving with new offerings.

Prichard's Distillery also produces Crystal (white) Rum, Cranberry Rum, Key Lime Rum, Sweet Georgia Belle Peach Mango Rum, a limited edition Private Stock Rum, Sweet Lucy Bourbon Liqueur and Benjamin Prichard's Double Barreled Bourbon.
