Patrick Swayze dead at 57

Patrick Wayne Swayze (August 18, 1952 - September 14, 2009) best known for his roles in Ghost and Dirty Dancing lost his bout with pancreatic cancer today, he was 57.
Days ago the Enquirer reported that Swayze was returning to his Los Angeles home to pass on. His body of work is vast and he will always be remembered as a great American actor and for his humanitarian work with surviving cancer patients.
At this time his family has made no formal statement about the death of Swayze.
