Mother's Day was beautiful.  With a high of 72F and sunshine, it could not have been much better.  In fact, it also broke our string of consecutive days with rainfall at nine.  Too bad this good thing won't last.

Overnight, clouds have made a return.  The chance of rain has returned as well.  For the most part, the best chance of rain will be this afternoon, and from Baltimore towards the south.

Temperatures will remain below normal, thanks to the clouds and a northerly wind.  A slight warm up will build this week, but the chance of thunderstorms will tag along for the ride Thursday and Friday.  National weather maps are in the slide show below.

If you missed it, I posted some great pictures from the Cherry Blossom Festival in April.  What better for Mother's Day than month old flowers?  I was not able to share these earlier, so this was as good as ever.
