Good news! As the coastal storm moves away, we get sun and temperatures into the lower 70s. It will not last long, as another cold front will arrive mid day Saturday with rain, and a cool down. That will bring us back to reality of the 50s by Sunday. I will post more on that this evening or tomorrow morning. Please check back.
But it could be worse. This is all part of a storm classified as a Blizzard in the northern plains. Winds over 50 mph and heavy snow was the deal. I've posted 45.7 inches in south western South Dakota, but as of this morning, it was still snowing and spread to Minneapolis, MN. I am so jealous. Look below for a video clip from FoxNews. Some of you might also recognize the weather person. That is Dominica Davis- who took over my spot at WBAL, when I moved here to ABC2. She is now on FoxNews.
On the flip side, there is Hurricane Paloma in the Caribbean. While it was just a Category 1 this morning, the forecast here shows it up to near Category 3 status this weekend. It will cross Cuba and be the 4th storm there this season.
Speaking of storms, I posted my Winter Outlook on Wednesday and know that you could not read it if you use Internet Explorer. I apologize for that. Until I can fix the problem, I posted it again on my web site at justinweathertalk.com.
Please let me know if you have questions, or a topic you want me to cover. I look forward to your input and sharing ideas.
